Humans and animals have been using plant medicine for millions of years. The digestive systems of all mammals have evolved in relationship with the plants. We will look at the roles of bitter, aromatic and demulcent herbs and their amazing roles in the health and healing of our digestive systems. This is a hands-on class focusing on tasting, smelling, feeling and experiencing the ways that herbs interact with our GI tracts, and the how, when, and whys of using herbs to aid in digestive function.
